Our "Little Goats", Our "Little Farm"

Welcome to our Little Goaty Goat Farm!

We are Angelica and Brett Griebel.   Along with our three boys, Milo, Ollie & Fritz,  we strive in raising  ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats for show quality, milking and friendliness  on our little farm that is nestled in a valley alongside Wolf Lodge Creek in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.

In 2023, we got our feet wet in ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association) sanctioned shows and joined a local 4-H club for the Dairy Goat project. We are planning to participate in LA (Linear Appraisals) in 2025.

Nigerian Dwarf Goats are a miniature dairy goat breed.  Their milk can be triple the levels of butterfat compared to other goat breeds which gives it an extra rich, sweet and creamy flavor. We enjoy using their milk as is, as well as to make yogurt,  pudding, ice cream, cheese and cajeta (goat milk caramel).

In 2024, we had the opportunity to start sharing our goods at a local Farmers Market.  See "Our Goods" to see what we seasonally have to offer.  In late 2024, we also have introduced our homemade goat milk lotion and soaps that can be found in "Our Soap & Such".

3 day old kids born on our little farm are bottle fed for about 8-12 weeks which we find makes them extremely tame and friendly.  They are also well socialized as we bring them along to a local Farmers Market to give many baby goat snuggles.

Handling them on a daily basis adds more chores to our days but the bonding and extra time spent with them goes a long way whether they stay on our little farm or eventually head to their new homes.

Our herd last tested clean of CAE, CL and Johnes as of April 2024
